In Belgium, they burned tires and blocked roads with tractors, while French producers set up check points along the German and Spanish borders to prevent trucks from delivering imported cheese. PEI Organic Hemp Seed Field Day

August 17, Various locations

Hosted by the PEI Certified Organic Producers Cooperative (COPC), will include presentations from the main buyer in eastern Canada (eastern Quebec),  a plant breeder from Ontario who is working on Island-adapted varieties, a successful Saskatchewan organic hemp farmer, and on collaborative trials at the AAFC Harrington Research Station. The PEIFA is offering First Aid and CPR courses through Island First Aid Services for $70+hst. The courses are 2 days in length and are good for 3 years. If you have several people needing training in your workplace courses can also be arranged at the farm for a minimum of 8 people.
