Greg and Tania MacKenzie established their farm, MacKenzie Produce, in 2003. The couple grow a variety of fresh vegetables on 115 acres, including turnip, broccoli, pumpkins, yellow and green beans, squash, zucchini and peppers. They also have an additional 85 acres of cabbage which is their main commodity which they store year round to supply weekly orders.
Many of the vegetables grown on the farm are shipped to supply Keybrand Foods Inc, Sussex Valley Vegetable Farms and also sold to restaurants and farm markets.
The MacKenzie’s sell their fresh produce and pumpkins at their road side market in the fall on the Trans Canada Highway in Stratford.
