Dorian Response Program – Guidelines & Application Form

The PEI Department of Agriculture and Land has established the Post-tropical Storm Dorian Response Program to provide financial support to corn, crambe, and tree fruit producers who have incurred extra-ordinary costs due to Dorian which are not covered by existing BRM programs.

Please find the application form for producers HERE and the guideline document HERE that provides instructions on what is eligible under the funding program.

All applications are due no later than March 19, 2021.

The funding will be as follows:

  • Corn (grain, silage, snaplage/cobmeal)
    • Up to $50/acre
  • Crambe
    • Up to $26/acre
  • Tree fruit
    • $1000/acre of fully affected Fruit Trees
    • $500/acre of partially affected Fruit Trees

These numbers are subject to change on a prorate basis if demand for payments exceed estimated acreage.
