SUMMARY:Macphail's Chainsaw Courses: Level I & II
DESCRIPTION:Chainsaws are dangerous\, but when used with proper training\, they become an invaluable tool in helping make forests healthier. Macphail’s chainsaw safety training courses are perfect for individuals of all skill levels. We teach the most up-to-date techniques in a safe and inclusive learning environment. By the end of all four levels\, students will have learned to work safely and efficiently and be able to identify and disarm an array of hazards. Our goal is to demonstrate that every felling plan and cut is an opportunity to learn new skills and develop your informed cutting strategies. \nWhat to Bring: \n\nChainsaw pants or chaps\nChainsaw boots or steel toes\nWater and a lunch\nGloves\, if you have them\nClothes that are appropriate for the weather\, including rain gear.\n\n\nIf you have any difficulties\, please contact us by email at admin@macphailwoods.org or by phone: (902) 651-2575. \n
