With the introduction of daytime running lights which require vehicles built after 1989 to have daytime running lights installed (farm tractors and self-propelled farm implements are exempt) we have heard from some members who have these vehicles and question what to do. Under the legislative change these vehicles must have running lights installed.  A module is available at the auto parts stores that will activate the vehicle’s low beams any time the ignition is on.  One module is made by Grote, part number 44040 and costs $ 39.95 at Capital Auto. It is apparently a simple item to install.
