Growing up on the family farm, a potato and beef operation in Borden-Carleton, inspired Jessica Larsen to pursue a world of possibilities in agricultural careers. Currently a student at Dalhousie Agricultural Campus, Jessica visited Saint Lucia to share about innovative agricultural practices and spent her summer helping conduct soil research with the Department of Agriculture. Jessica was awarded the PEIFA, PEI Agromart & Island Lime Agriculture Leadership Scholarship for 2023.
