Cattle markets can recover

Lower cattle prices have been the story this spring and summer. GETTING RE-EVALUATION DONE RIGHT – THE FIRST TIME

One of the many “consultations” that the Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA) sent out this year has to do with changing the process for re-evaluations of pesticides. On the surface, that is a laudable thing as the current process leaves a lot to be desired. It amused me that even such a consultation on change missed an opportunity to actually try to make some change by getting stakeholder input BEFORE producing the position paper. This reflects in large part what seems to keep the good ship PMRA heading into shoal water. MORE
