Market Successfully Restored for Canadian Beef Exports to Taiwan
The Honourable Lawrence MacAulay, Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food, and the Honourable Chrystia Freeland, Minister of International Trade, today announced that Taiwan has lifted its temporary ban on Canadian beef, effective July 8, 2016. Taiwan temporarily suspended imports of Canadian beef in response to the February 2015 detection of an isolated case of bovine spongiform encephalopathy (BSE) in Canada. MORE

A federal judge in Mexico’s Northern State of Sinaola issued a decree that bans the import of fresh potatoes from the United States. MORE

He will give a short presentation and overview on Dickeya and some of the research he completed over the last few years.
